The Microsoft Azure integration relies on Azure Monitoring Alerting as the means of communication between your resources and Bellme. Azure Alerts interfaces with most resources within Azure.
ℹ️ As with every integration, we recommend using separate API keys for each.
First off, ensure you have both a Bellme Policy and Integration set up. The integration's type should be 'Microsoft Azure'.
We recommend using the following this documentation from Microsoft on setting up Azure Alert Rules: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/platform/alerts-log. Be sure to check the additional information below at the relevant stages.
We'll need to get our Endpoint URL next. To get the Endpoint URL for your Integration, click on the three vertical dots next to it on the Integrations tab within your Bellme dashboard, and click 'Get URL'. You'll need this URL next.
When adding actions to your Alert Rule, ne sure to select Webhook as the type. You'll now be presented with an endpoint field. Use the endpoint URL that we found above, making sure to replace
YOUR_API_TOKEN with an API token from the API section of your settings page.
ℹ️ IMPORTANT: To ensure Bellme works with this Alert Rule, be sure to select 'Common Alert Schema' when configuring your webhook.
You should now be able to receive alerts via your Azure Alert Rule directly through Bellme.
